About Us
Tyus Sports Inc is dedicated to providing athletic opportunities and resources to underserved youth in our community. Through coaching, mentoring, and access to sports equipment, we strive to promote physical activity, teamwork, and leadership skills for children who may not otherwise have the chance to participate in organized sports programs. Our goal is to empower young athletes to reach their full potential in sports and in life. Additionally, Tyus Sports Inc focuses on fostering a sense of community and belonging among participants, instilling values of sportsmanship and discipline, and creating pathways for academic and personal growth beyond the field or court.
The organization utilizes innovative coaching methods and engaging activities to make sports and physical activity enjoyable and educational for the youth.
Incorporating elements of science, technology, engineering, and math into sports programs to enhance participants' understanding of these subjects in a practical and interesting way.
Through sports activities, participants are encouraged to think critically, strategize, and overcome challenges, fostering the development of essential problem-solving skills.
Encouraging creativity and innovative thinking through sports, allowing participants to explore new approaches, develop unique techniques, and push beyond traditional boundaries in their athletic pursuits.
